Cave Bear


A new addition to our museum is this magnificent fossil Cave Bear (Ursus Spelaeus).
His name is "URI" and he is believed to have been about 20 years old.
This fossil comes from the Pleistocene, about 100,000 years ago. It stands 9' high, and was found in a limestone cave in the Ural Mts. of Russia.
